The Racingline R600 Silicone Coolant Re-Route Hose is a purpose-built upgrade for EA888 Gen.4 engines fitted with the Racingline R600 cold-air intake system. It’s a small part that solves a real problem, tidying up the engine bay while delivering the durability needed for modern VW Group cooling systems.

Why You Need This Hose

On many MQB ‘EVO’ cars, the factory coolant hose runs directly over the top of the engine, partially covering your R600 intake and leaving the engine bay looking cluttered. This direct-replacement hose reroutes the coolant line underneath the intake, giving you a much cleaner, show-quality finish that does justice to the rest of your build.

Built for the Job

This is more than a cosmetic tweak. The hose is constructed from reinforced 4-ply silicone, designed to handle the pressures and temperatures of your engine’s cooling system without flexing or failing over time. It also features a Fluoro inner liner, making it fully compatible with the aggressive G12 and G13 coolants used in modern VW Group cars. Standard silicone hoses can degrade when exposed to these coolants, so this lining is an important detail that ensures long-term reliability.

Crucially, the hose includes a new factory one-way valve, a component the cooling system relies on for correct operation. Nothing is left to chance, and the part fits and functions exactly like the original.

Important Fitment Information

This hose fits EA888 Gen.4 engines equipped with the Garrett turbocharger only. It will NOT fit cars fitted with the Continental turbo (300-333PS models).
