Racingline Billet Oil Filler Cap – EA888.3 & Gen.4 2.0 TSI Engines (VWR190002)
Add a touch of precision engineering to your engine bay with the Racingline Billet Oil Filler Cap. Designed specifically for EA888.3 and EA888 Gen.4 2.0 TSI engines, this CNC-machined cap is a simple but worthwhile upgrade that replaces the standard plastic part with something that both looks better and seals more reliably.
The Satisfaction of the “Click”
One of the most noticeable differences over the original plastic cap is the feel. The Racingline cap locks firmly into place with a clear, audible click, giving you immediate confirmation that it is properly seated. No more second-guessing whether the cap is fully tightened after an oil top-up.
Precision Machined for a Perfect Seal
Each cap is machined from a solid billet of 6061 aerospace-grade aluminium using 5-axis CNC technology. This produces tight tolerances and a precise fit, which holds up well to the heat soak generated by a hard-working turbocharged engine.
It’s then polished and finished in a gloss-anodised Midnight Black coating. The anodising protects the aluminium from corrosion and keeps the cap looking sharp over time, even with regular handling and exposure to engine bay temperatures.
Solves a Known Oil Weeping Issue
This isn’t just a styling part. The standard plastic oil filler cap on TSI engines is known to develop minor oil “weeping” leaks over time as the plastic ages and the seal hardens. The Racingline billet cap addresses this directly with a robust, precision-fitting design that delivers a consistent, airtight seal.

Designed for popular VW, Audi, SEAT and Skoda models running the 2.0 TSI EA888.3 and EA888 Gen.4 engines, including platforms such as the Golf GTI, Golf R, S3, Cupra and Octavia vRS.
