Racingline Audi (C7) Air Suspension Height Adjustable Lowering Links

Racingline Audi (C7) Air Suspension Height Adjustable Lowering Links

Get the stance you want on your air-suspension Audi without losing any of the comfort or functionality you paid for. The Racingline Height Adjustable Lowering Links (VWR436000) give you precise, on-car control of ride height, letting you drop your Audi by up to 50mm / 2 inches at each corner, front and rear.

As an authorised UK Racingline dealer, we supply these links direct from Racingline Performance, so you can be confident you’re getting the genuine article.

What these lowering links do

Your Audi’s air suspension uses ride height sensors at each corner. These sensors are connected to the suspension arms by short plastic links that tell the car’s computer exactly how high the vehicle is sitting. Racingline’s adjustable links replace these standard plastic parts, allowing you to fine-tune what the sensors report back to the car.

The result is a lower, more planted stance with an improved centre of gravity, sharper looks and better road presence, all while keeping the factory air suspension working exactly as Audi intended.

Why they make a difference

• Fully adjustable on the car: Simply turn the link body to change ride height at each corner. No need to remove and refit between adjustments.
• Wide adjustment range: From stock height down to 50mm / 2 inches lower, front and rear.
• Keeps all factory features: The MMI height modes and the ‘raise’ function for speed bumps and steep driveways continue to work as normal.
• No coding or reprogramming: No faults, no warning lights, no software changes. Fitment is simple and fully reversible.
• Built to last: CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminium bodies finished in gloss black anodising, with stainless steel threaded adjusters and sealed ball joints for long-term, maintenance-free operation.

How they work

By changing the effective length of the link between the suspension arm and the height sensor, the angle the sensor reads is altered. The car’s computer then sets the air springs to maintain what it believes is the correct ride height, which is now lower than standard. Because nothing else in the suspension system is modified, all the factory comfort, damping and self-levelling behaviour is retained.

The exact amount of drop will vary slightly between the different MMI ride height modes (Comfort, Auto, Dynamic and so on), which is normal and expected.
