Lower overall height to fit vehicles with aftermarket intakes.
Previously, many Mk7 Golf R and 8V S3 owners had to choose between an aftermarket intake, or a T9359 DV+. Both mods took up extra clearance, and in many cases it could only be one or the other. The T9381 is the same height as the OEM diverter, so fitment with an aftermarket intake is no longer an issue!
Integrated solenoid, simpler installation.
The T9381 comes with a low-profile solenoid and is a complete drop-in replacement. There is no need to disassemble the OEM diverter valve and re-use the solenoid, making installation faster and ensuring any issues with an ageing OEM solenoid are eliminated.
